Students receive iPads and learning suppliesStudents receive iPads and learning supplies

On April 27-28, all EASD 131 elementary schools held drive-through iPad distribution, with preschool sites handing out boxes of learning supplies.

A team of volunteer staff organized the pick-up of iPad devices and student school supplies, as well as the drop-off of completed learning packets, library books, musical instruments, any many other items. Preschool families also picked up a box filled with many amazing learning supplies.

Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Norrell, along with School Board President Annette Johnson and Board Member Alex Arroyo, also were on hand to get a first-hand look at this great endeavor, and to help distribute materials to families.

Thank you to our families, for your patience and kind support, as we navigate this new and sudden change to our students’ learning environment. And thank you to our dedicated staff throughout the district, on the front lines, and behind the scenes, who are helping students make the transition to remote learning.
