2020 Census workers needed2020 Census workers needed

The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking people to fill paid positions to help complete the 2020 census, and will hold recruiting events at Fox Valley Park District’s three community centers for interested residents. Work schedules will depend on positions. Hours for field positions are flexible, though some require weekday work, while others require evening and weekend work. The lowest-paid position is $19.50 an hour and employees are paid weekly.

To qualify, individuals must be at least 18, provide proof of U.S. citizenship and successfully complete a background check. Recruiting events will be held at the following times and locations:

Prisco Community Center (150 W. Illinois Avenue, Aurora)

When: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 28; and 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, November 4

Vaughan Athletic Center (2121 W. Indian Trail, Aurora)

When: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29

Eola Community Center (555 S. Eola Road, Aurora)

When: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6
